Best place ever. Good people good food good drinks.

Fastest service and always delicious food. My favorite is the shrimp nachos with a side of chihuahua cheese (queso) and a peach frozen daiquiri

Chips were fresh--just the right amount of salt and very light. Salsa was nice too. I ordered the taquitos mexicanos and they were larger than I would've anticipated, which is nice! Chicken was good but the beef was so delicious. Moist and flaky, kind of like pot roast. Great price too...only complaint might be that I wish that it had come with rice. Will return when I go back to the area!

Nothing bad to say about this beautiful restaurant. Their chips and salsa may be my favorite anywhere! This trip we tried the fish tacos--yummy and good size serving. And the taco salad was really really good. The service and value is top notch. Highly recommend.

They do not respect ADA and let people park in their Handicapped marked parking that should not be.

Salsa is excellent. Just the right amount of jalapeño. Very tasty Cadillac margarita! Chimichanga (chicken) was large with plenty of chicken. The meat was a little dry and lacked a lot of flavor. Aren't chimichangas usually fried?

Food is always good. Service could be better. Calling in an order was just too much. It is better to sit and eat. My steak was chewy.

The food is not bad but three soft steak tacos with just meat and tortillas, shouldn't be $6.50. Should've seen the way it was put in the box.

The food was very good! Their chips were little pieces of crispy delights, the Margaritas were very tasty, and the service was great!! Prices were very reasonable. We will be back!! Highly recommend.

The chips were warm and the salsa was tasty. I ordered the chimichanga with beef. It was enjoyable. The only reason i left one star off was because the server was not attentive. There were only 5 tables of customers and i had to flag my server down a couple of times.

The food was very good, but the staff, and the customers were a blast. I felt like part of the party as soon as I walked in. Not a place to just come in and eat. Come in and enjoy the full ambiance while you eat.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time!! It's the biggest thing I miss about not living in St. Louis anymore and always my first stop when I visit! I have been ordering the Burrito Mexicano there for like, over ten years!! Amazing food, friendly staff, AMAZING FOOD, affordable, aesthetic, excellent drinks, and did I say amazing food!?

Great outdoor space chips and salsa are better than most mexican restaurants. Margaritas are great because not excessively sweet. Ample menu prices are reasonsible

This place used to be my spot. For some reason, the service and food started to decline a little, but is still good. Still have a lot of love for it, but the service needs to improve. There are some good waiters there, but definitely a few busters last time I went. My only real complaint about it is the hosting. For some reason there will be people waiting, but there will be a ton of open tables. Not sure what that is about.

This place is best at what it is: neighborhood family Mexican. Food is flavorful and plentiful, good menu, drinks and food, a bright, colorful decor, sweeeeet patio, and very friendly wait staff. I drive 45 minutes to eat here and pass 10 Mexican places. Top casual family Mexican.

This place is accurately named as it has the best steak chimichangas and salsa in St. Louis. I get it everytime, and I go here often. Definitely recommend!

The waitress was very rude to me after getting my order wrong. I asked for a shrimp nacho and she brought me out a supreme order with chicken on it. I mean I don't even eat chicken and she argued back 2 me that I ordered a supreme with chicken.

Our first time visiting. We arrived on Friday night at 5pm and seated right away. I'm glad we got there when we did because they had a waiting line by the time we left. It's definitely a popular place. It became very noisy and hard to hold a conversation. Food was OK not outstanding. Chips brought out were thin a plus for me and I ask for a hotter salsa. It had decent amount heat which I enjoyed. Wife got fajitas and polo loco for me. Fajitas came out smouldering hot with a side plate of the usual accomplishments. My filleted chicken breast was a bit tough to cut but had a good flavor. Worth another visit to try other items on a big menu. Love their food. One of my favorite places for take out. However, i wish they would give you more Salsa with to go orders. You have to pay extra to get chips and salsa. And they give you a giant bag of chips and a tiny container of salsa. Other than that, no complaints.

I love this mexican restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is very attentive and they provide fast service. The decor and atmosphere is very relaxing that has nice music playing in the background. My favorites are the chips and reasonably priced drinks. I've been here a few times, and plan on going here again in the future!

I enjoy Chimichanga for what it is, very affordable Tex-Mex that is decent, quick and unpretentious and has many combination options. The chips they serve with their salsa are light and amazing, and the salsa is good. The help varies wildly from servers who are excellent and attentive to hostesses who seem pretty irritated that you would like a seat, but is generally at least passable and more often than not, friendly and efficient.

I have been here before and just love everything about it. But today I really enjoyed the way the homemade chips and salsa tasted and worked together. The picture is the guacamole salad. It is so fresh with just the right amount of heat. Service is 6 stars.

Updated review: We have been loyal customer’s for over 5 years!! Today we came and had the most terrible thing happen. After ordering our meal and starting to enjoy it, a roach ran across the table. My husband politely killed it and took it to our waiter. (Lucky for them because if I would’ve seen it the entire building would have known.) They were kind enough to discount our meal (which was left on the table.) No worries though. It was our last time there 🤷🏽‍♀️Original review: Good authentic Mexican food with hot wings to die for

A childhood favorite of mine. Prices are reasonable, service is really good, and I've always enjoyed their fajitas. The atmosphere and patio really sell this place. I love the neighborhood, right in the middle of south city. They've earned all the business they get.

Decent food and service, drinks looked good. You won't be disappointed! 1 star off for bathroom could have been updated during crisis.

Absolutely love this place!! This place will always be my top Mexican restaurant in St. Louis. All the other's are overrated!! Want authentic Mexican food and great drinks this is your stop. Nice inside dining area and even better outside sitting and dining area. They sometimes even open tge deck in the winter with heated outside seating. Highly recommend trying..

Everything there is great! Surprisingly, the BEST catfish around! Margaritas are AWESOME, too! Service is, sometimes spotty, but overall, highly recommend. Patio opens SOON!

We came in a group of hungry four around 9:30 even with it so close to closing they prepared our meals with a smile, and got us out by 9:50. The young host at the front was kind, and very helpful. The salsa and chips are amazing, they do cost though (1.10). Thanks guys the amazing service at such short notice. The atmosphere was amazing as well! There are lights strewn all about, a couple of tvs put up to enjoy the games of the day. The staff is quick and on their toes. Definitely will be returning.
